Dr. Munawar Hussain Aasi
MBBS, FCPS
Dr. Munawar Hussain Aasi is Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation who is serving at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Kharian. Prior to this, he served at CMH Abbottabad and Gilgit.
Dr. Munawar is a graduate from Army Medical College in 1998. He completed his internship at PNS Shifa Naval Hospital Karachi in 2000 and served as General Duty Medical Officer at various military stations before he started his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFIRM) in 2005. He passed the exit exam (FCPS) in 2011 to become the Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP).
During the 2005 earth quake disaster, Dr. Munawar participated proactively in affected areas in North of Pakistan and continued to provide visits for a period of over three years. These visits were arranged by AFIRM in collaboration with a non-government organization named CHAL. He also contributed in establishing and providing free medical camps and services in remote areas of the affected regions.
Dr. Munawar is a certified sailor. He likes Sailing (laser boat) and enjoys playing Cricket.
