Dr. Saeed Bin Ayaz is Head of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Okara, Pakistan. He received his medical degree from Army Medical College, Rawalpindi in 2003. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFIRM). In 2012, Dr. Saeed passed his exit exam to become the Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (FCPS). He also holds a Master’s Degree in Pain Medicine from Riphah International University, Islamabad. He served as an Internal Auditor for Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008
Dr. Saeed is a dynamic researcher in rehabilitation medicine in Pakistan. He has presented at various local, national and international platforms and won many awards for PMR. In 2011, he won a cash award for presenting a paper on osteoporosis on world osteoporosis day. He also won best poster awards at National Rehabilitation Conference and Pain Con in 2015. The same year, he was awarded for the best platform presentation at the 2nd International and 4th National Conference at Rehab Con Pakistan.
Dr. Saeed is a member of International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM), International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), World Stroke Organization (WSO), Transverse Myelitis Association and Prosthetics and Orthotics Society of Pakistan (POSP)
