Dr. Uzma Akhlaque

Dr. Uzma Akhlaque is Classified Specialist & Head of dept. Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Combined military hospital Abottabad. Dr. Uzma Graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College in 1996 and later completed her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. After passing her Fellowship Certification (FCPS), she did her Masters in Pain Medicine from Riphah University and secured a gold medal. As a registrar at AFIRM, remained actively involved in the training and teaching of the Nursing Assistants, and Physiotherapists for Class I & II training under Armed Forces Post Graduate Medical Institute, Rawalpindi. Dr. Uzma was also the assistant training officer at AFIRM for 2 years where she also remained the CPD coordinator. She had further training from Turkey at Marmara university hospital in Interventional Pain Management.
Dr. Uzma has conducted various presentations and academic activities across national and international platforms and she is a member of IASP, STSP, ISPRM and National Stroke Awareness Program
