Hakan Gunduz

I have been following PM&R specialty in Pakistan closely for the last 3 years. In 2013, we hosted two important guests, Dr. Uzma Aftab and Dr. Waseem Iqbal from Pakistan in our PM&R Department in Marmara University, Istanbul, Turkey. At that time, I have learned that number of PM&R specialists in Pakistan is less than 30. Then, I have the chance to visit Pakistan in 2014 and 2015 for RehabCon Congresses and organized two Interventional Pain Workshops and gave lectures there. What I have noticed from my colleagues in Pakistan is how kind, enthusiastic and hardworking people they are! Turkish PM&R people and Pakistan PM&R people, are brothers and sisters just like our countries.
I am sure PM&R specialty in Pakistan will grow very fast and to a very high scientific level.
