Dr. Fahim Anwar

Dr Anwar is working as Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine in Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (Addenbrooke’s Hospital) in UK where he is clinical lead for trauma rehabilitation. Dr Anwar trained in rehabilitation medicine in Glasgow and after obtaining CCT in rehabilitation medicine completed a post-CCT fellowship in chronic pain management.
Dr Anwar is involved in teaching rehabilitation medicine registrars and medical students of the Cambridge University Hospital. Dr Anwar is actively involved in clinical research and his research interest includes, traumatic brain injuries, post-traumatic amnesia, neurobehavioral sequelae of the traumatic brain injury and hemi-spatial neglect. Dr Anwar is also a trustee for Headway Hertfordshire UK (charity looking after people with acquired brain injury in the community).
Dr Anwar is a member of British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine, World Federation of Neurorehabilitation, International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, British Society of Orthopaedic Medicine and United Kingdom Brain Injury Forum.
